This season’s featured artist is Pema Loday, a talented painter from Tshangka, who is exhibiting 20 distinct pieces of traditional Bhutanese art. Rich in symbolism and spiritual depth, each piece reflects Bhutan’s timeless artistic traditions while showcasing Pema Loday’s personal touch and creative spirit.
The exhibition will remain open to the public for the next three months, giving visitors ample opportunity to immerse themselves in Bhutanese visual culture. In addition to viewing the works on display, guests will also have the chance to purchase original artworks, providing a direct and meaningful way to support local artists.
This collaboration is part of the museum’s ongoing effort to create platforms for Bhutanese artists to share their work, connect with audiences, and generate income through their craft. By doing so, the Museums Division continues to foster a deeper appreciation for Bhutanese art and encourage intergenerational dialogue about the importance of cultural preservation.
